●  228 massacre. /  LTN 2021-4-19: A report by former Defense Minister Bai Chongxi says 1/5 million of bullets, 1,000 grenades, 700 artillery shells were used up to fight Taiwanese people from 3-8 till 3-30 in 228 event, but the death number on record is only 304.  Public Radio International,  The World  2023-3-1 : KMT killed thousands of people across Taiwan. It’s often referred to in Taiwan as the 228 massacre.
